This first illustrated machine is a dual screw blow molder which was designed
to make balusters for railings and stairways. The machine is configured to manufacture very long, thin parts weighing up to about 16 ounces. It makes two parts at a time and trims them, bringing them out of the machine, ready for packing. The 2 1/2" 20:1 dual screw extruder is capable of processing up to 250 pounds per hour of powdered pvc. Standard features include; bimetallic extruder barrels, stellited flights on the extrusion screws, MACO 6500 control of temperature, parison programming and machine operation. Usable platen area, 16 x 52 inches.
